Sage and Eeden,

A couple Oc's of mine

From and original world where creatures known as Fiends (or demons) populate an 'alternate realm', this realm is known as the Arch realm. These creature have strict military/class like, hierarchy system based on Fiend type, and physical strength/intelligence.

Fiends are at a constant war against Celestials (another type of non-human type of creature, which are opposite to Fiends, somewhat like "Angels"). There is a war between the two over which will control the mortal realm, and gain rights to it's land and resources. 

Stronger and tougher creatures such as Vargr or Vampyres, are more valued in society as they are 99% of the time, the ones to kill Celestials. They are given larger properties, more food, and are generally more liked and well respected. Weaker demons such as "-Thropes, or Avies", are target to the attacks of Celestials and harassment of other Fiends. 

A weaker Fiend can request the protection of a stronger Fiend, in return for preforming tasks requested by the "Guardian". The two enter into a contract where the Guardian will risk their own life to protect their "charge". There isn't much incentive for these contracts, many Fiends will offer payment as a result. The tasks are usually menial such as running errands, preparing food, watching the house while Guardian is away or in this case, combing hair. 

A Charge is never very far away from their Guardian, if the two are apart, Guardians have an innate sense of when their Charge is in danger. 

Trying to develop my own universe for fun I guess, this is only a small slice of the whole thing, but its a WIP.
